Anti Graffiti Protection for Hard and Porous Surfaces

Internal or External

Water based all weather long term protection formulated for most types of surfaces. Protects against spray paint or graffiti applied by roller or brush. Provides extra strong protection against marker/felt tip pen and mechanical damage.

Protects against airborne pollution and dampness for a minimum of 5 years.

Preparation: Clean off graffiti and other contamination from substrate such as traffic dirt etc. Mask and protect windows in a suitable manner. Ideal temperature for application should be between 10 and 35°C, lowest temperature 4°C. The relative humidity must not exceed 95%.

Exterior Protection: Stir product well before use. Can be applied by roller, brush or sprayer. The protection is applied in two coats. Wait for the first coat to dry before applying the second. Can be applied to a damp (but not wet) surface. Runs and excessive application can easily be washed off with water.

Interior Protection Painted substrate can be protected using a squeegee brush, roller or low pressure spray. Two coats are required.

Exterior Normal Substrates: Remove graffiti with high pressure hot water (90°C 150 bar).

Re-protect cleaned area.

Exterior Sensitive Substrates: Spray apply TR 40, allow a few minutes for the neutral remover to act and then wash off with hot water (90°C, 90 - 150 bar). This method is most suitable when substrate is brittle. Any graffiti left on the surface can be removed with a cloth. Re-protect cleaned area.

Interior painted substrates: Dampen the area with TR 40 and wipe off graffiti with cloth. If possible use high pressure hot water and wet vac machine.

Porous Surfaces: Wash off with hot water and wet vac.

When removing graffiti, the protective coating is also normally removed. Re-protect with TP 520 Anti Graffiti Protection.

Dosage Use in concentrate form.

Consumption Varies dependant on surface.

Guidelines Concrete block or similar 0.10 - 0.15 ltr/sq. m per coat

Sandstone/ Rendered/ other soft absorbent 0.15 - 0.20 ltr/sq. m per coat

Drying period The protected surfaces will be water and fully graffiti resistant after two hours and dry after four.

Ultimate protective effect will be achieved after 72 hours.

Technical Data Supplied in 5 ltr plastic container. Specific weight 0.99 kg/ltr. Odourless. Water based. pH value approximately 8. Solid contents 7.5%

Appearance Transparent mostly invisible dependant on type of surface. UV, weather, water and graffiti resistant. NOTE Some building material can darken slightly or give faint sheen. Test on small area first.

Precautions Use protective clothing and normal working precautions.

Storage Store frost fee in original container.

Shelf life Approximately 12 months in unopened container.
